I am a Licensed Massage Bodywork Therapist LMBT #1119 and I received my training from TMTI Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte NC, November 1996. My studies consisted of the following bodywork modalities; Swedish Massage, Hot-Stone Massage, Myofascial Massage, Thai Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Therapeutic Stretch, Pathology and more.
My Specialty as it relates to Massage Therapy is Deep-Tissue Massage. However, I never do just Deep-Tissue or just Myofascial Massage, etc. I provide an awesome integrated treatment just for you.

The reason I enjoy giving a Deep-Tissue Massage is because it can be a lot like having a good workout and you may be a little sore the next day. Many clients say that drinking a couple of glasses of water helps and prevents post massage soreness. If you become concerned with the amount of soreness you experience, then the next session I will adjust the pressure. I always do deep therapy to get the best results even for just stress relief. Deep-Tissue does not mean "pain". Deep-Tissue Massage can be done with even lighter, non-invasive pressure.
Massage Helps Relieve Pain

Touch is the most powerful tool in the world. It removes the waste products from the muscle tissue and reducing the affects of the pain inducing chemicals. All sessions I provide include a wide variety of techniques that I have picked up over my 15 years as a massage therapist.
My goal as a Massage Therapist is to welcome all aspects of the clients' feedback, to ensure the support of their individual needs and concerns and to assist in improving my client’s health and enhance their well-being. I provide clients with a relaxing, compassionate, and stress-reducing massage at an affordable price. I also, provide an atmosphere for my client’s that is safe, calming, and professional where they can come and release tensions, relieve pain, and rejuvenate their bodies.
In December 2009, I obtained my M.S. in Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate #A7825, Nationally Certified Counselor #261217, and a School Counselor. I will receive a Certification Marriage and Family Counseling, December 2011 from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.
I have been working as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate since April 2010 and my approach to counseling includes helping individuals identify strengths within himself/herself, as well as, help them develop self-awareness. The types of counseling services I provide are generally directed toward adults, adolescents, children, and families. I use a combination of theoretical approaches to help them develop the coping skills needed by using a variety of interventions/strategies to deal with stressful events and/or situations. While in session, people have a chance to talk things out for about 45-50 minutes in a safe and comfortable environment. The greatest benefit to counseling in my experience is learning how to develop and maintain a sense of balance in life which yields more lasting contentment, satisfaction, and skills for coping with the inevitable challenges life presents.
